Bill Klenke has over 40 years of experience within the Military Heath System (MHS) with expertise in Military Health Systems Strategy, Operations, Plans, Training, Logistics, and Security. He served in the Air Force and Army Medical Department (AMEDD), retiring in 2000. While serving as a Medical Service Corps officer for over 20 years He was a health physicist, planner, trainer and teacher, scientist, administrator, and subject matter expert (lasers, NBC, Joint medical planning, research, operations, finance). Following military retirement, over the past 15 years, worked in a variety of operational positions with global influence, notably winning 4 sole source IDIQ federal contracts; supporting integration of the National Capital Region (NCR) MHS (currently the Defense Health Agency); and directly supporting (and often guiding the stand up) MHS newly formed organizations to include the Joint Task Force, Capital Medical, the Vision Center of Excellence (VCE), the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury and its Component Centers.
